Como ir a Londes desde el aeropuerto de Gatwick
Ya tenemos nuestro vuelo barato a Inglaterra, hemos conseguido un vuelo que nos deja en Gatwick pero, oh sorpresa, Gatwick no está en Londres... Como nos desplazamos hasta allí?
Bueno, que no cunda el pánico. En realidad Gatwick es una localidad al sur de Londres, muy cerquita de la capital londinense. Para movernos desde allí a Londres podemos ir en autobús o en tren con dos posibilidades.
En autobús encontrarás uno de los medios más baratos, unas 8 libras, aunque también es el mas lento, 90 minutos hasta Victoria Station, y puede ser más si hay tráfico. Hay salidas desde las 4 de la mañana desde Gatwick y desde las las 6 saliendo desde la Victoria Station.
En el Connex South Central, el equivalente al cercanias español, se trata de un tren con horario 24 horas, con salidas cada 15 minutos que se reducen a cada 60 minutos entre la 1 y las 4 de la madrugada. El precio es de unas 10 libras y nos dejará en Victoria Station en unos 35 minutos. Connex desapareció como compañia pero siguen exisitiendo dos trenes que te dejarán en el centro de Londres por uno 7 libras: el First Capital Connect, el South Central Trains que te deja en Victoria y sale cada 15 minutos y el Thameslink.
El South Central puede estar saturado en horas punta y no está preparado para equipajes.
Por último, el Gatwick Express suele ser la opción preferida por la mayoría de viajeros aunque también es de las más caras (exceptuando el taxi) unas 17 libras. Lo bueno es que hay salidas cada 15 minutos (cada 35 los domingos) y el horario es de 5am hasta la medianoche.
Si llegas en tu avión a la terminal norte tendrás que coger un monorail hasta la terminal sur, donde se encuentra la terminal de trenes.
Hablábamos del taxi, si te decides por este transporte el coste aproximado para tu bolsillo será de alrededor de 80 libras.
